Little Park, Andrew Carmellini's farm to table restaurant in Tribeca is one of the most exciting restaurants in the city. Carmellini's dishes remind me of Blue Hill but costs a fraction of Blue Hill's menu. Little Park is the ideal spot for a date night, a girl's night or just about any other night. I went with friends and we shared a bunch of dishes, a lot of laughs and a full bodied pinot grigio from North Fork, LI (yay for local sourcing)!
P.S.- I recommend getting 2 dishes per person and sharing dessert.
Mushroom spaghetti, poached egg, crispy shallots ($18)
Oregon waygu steak, spring onion, basil, boquerones ($32)
Long Island duck, chanterelle, rhubarb, cream nettle ($25)
Cinnamon toast ice cream ($8)
I highly recommend Little Park for your next dinner adventure and especially if you want to experience fine farm to table dining without spending too much. Make reservations asap!
