It's a rare feat to find a diner you actually love in Manhattan so when I found Nickel & Diner I was very excited. Tucked away on the border of SoHo and Chinatown, Nickel & Diner is type of diner that reinvents diner culture and repackages it for millennials. Think minimalist furniture, neutral colors, a white marble top bar and of course the fact that it is in a trendy neighborhood. But don't be fooled. The food is great. The menu offers all the classic American brunch dishes with extra feelings of southern comfort like melted cheese on potatoes and extra buttery hollandaise. Nickel & Diner is a great brunch spot for Saturday egg bennies with your friends or a cozy date with your other half.
I loved everything I tasted even the coffee. Next time I'd love to try their pastries.
